iTIC Incubator at IIT Hyderabad in association with SINE IIT Bombay and MeitY Startup Hub, is launching a Grand Challenge 2024 to identify impactful solutions to address the bottlenecks in the domain of Digital Twin and Simulation, Low/ No code platform, and Generative AI.
Partners:
iTIC Incubator focuses on supporting entrepreneurs building deep tech startups through their incubation and acceleration programs. MeitY is India's government agency overseeing policies and initiatives for electronics, IT, and digital governance.
To leverage the innovative capabilities of teams across India passionate about solving problems, MeitY Startup Hub, SINE IIT Bombay, and iTIC Incubator are collaborating to provide access to platforms, institutions, and resources. These can be utilized in the process of solution identification across the following domains:
Digital Twin and Simulation
A digital twin is a virtual model of a real-world object, system, or process, helping us understand and predict its behavior. Simulation uses computers to replicate real-world processes, allowing us to test and improve things without risk.
Future Utilization:Digital twins and simulations will revolutionize industries by optimizing operations, predicting issues before they occur, and enhancing design processes.
Low and No code platform
Low code platforms let you create software with minimal coding by using easy drag-and-drop tools. No code platforms take it a step further, allowing you to build apps without any coding at all, using simple interfaces.
Future Utilization:These platforms will democratize software development, enabling more people to create applications, thus speeding up innovation and reducing the dependency on specialized programmers.
Generative AI solutions
Generative AI creates new content, like text, images, or music, by learning from existing data. It's like having a creative assistant that can produce original works based on what it has learned.
Future Utilization:Generative AI will transform creative industries, automate content creation, and provide personalized experiences in entertainment, marketing, and design.
Teams of 2 to 4 individuals or startups are eligible to apply
A team can apply for only one of the domains
Startups applying must comply with the definition given by DPIIT
In the lead-up to the Grand Challenge 2024, a series of roadshows will be conducted across various cities. These events aim to engage and inspire innovators by providing insights into the challenge domains and offering networking opportunities with experts from the ecosystem.
Top-performing teams recognised will participate in the hackathon finale. Teams competing will be presenting their solutions to the jury in both the pitching rounds.
Members from Industry, Academia, Research Institutions, and Innovation Ecosystem will constitute a Jury for the selection of Winning teams.
